Thank you for choosing Revive Sports and Remedial Massage.

We are committed to providing professional, evidence-informed massage therapy in a safe, welcoming and respectful environment. These Terms & Conditions explain how appointments are managed and outline the responsibilities of both Revive Sports and Remedial Massage and our clients.

By booking or attending an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

About Revive Sports and Remedial Massage

Revive Sports and Remedial Massage provides professional treatments from a private garden studio.

​

Treatments include:​

  • Clinical Sports Massage

  • Remedial Massage

  • Deep Tissue Massage

  • Pregnancy Massage

  • Postnatal Massage

 

All treatments are provided by Nikki Howells, a Level 5 Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist with additional specialist qualifications in pregnancy and postnatal massage through Jenny Burrell Education.

 

Every appointment includes an assessment to ensure treatment is appropriate for your individual needs.

Booking an Appointment 

Appointments can be booked online using our ClinicSense booking system.

To confirm your appointment, full payment is required at the time of booking. Once payment has been successfully processed, you will receive a booking confirmation by email.

​

Online booking closes two hours before each available appointment.

​

Bundle booking:

Bundles of massages can be purchased by contacting Nikki at info@revive-yourself.co.uk or 07725946124. Once payment has been received, you will receive a code, which you input during checkout.

  • Bundles are valid for 12months from date of purchase;

  • are non-refundable (unless otherwise agreed);

  • cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • may be not be transferred to another person

  • must be redeemed before their expiry date.

Gift vouchers:

  • remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase;

  • are non-refundable;

  • cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • may be transferred to another person once communicated with Revive Sports and Remedial Massage

  • must be redeemed before their expiry date.

Arriving for Your Appointment

Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time.

​

If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened to avoid affecting subsequent appointments. The full appointment fee will still apply.

​

If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected situations can arise.

​

If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments missed without prior notification, may be charged the full treatment fee.

​

Where exceptional circumstances apply, these will always be considered fairly and at our discretion.

​

Should Revive Sports and Remedial Massage need to rearrange your appointment, you will be offered the choice of another appointment or a refund where appropriate.

​

Payments

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

​

Payments made through our online booking system, ClinicSense and are processed securely by Square. Revive Sports and Remedial Massage does not store or have access to your debit or credit card details.

​​

Where a refund is applicable under these Terms & Conditions, it will normally be returned to the original payment method. If this is not possible, a refund may be made by bank transfer to a UK bank account provided by the client.

​​

By completing your booking, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Health Information 

Before your first appointment you will be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire.

​

To help ensure your treatment remains safe and appropriate, you are responsible for informing us of any changes to your health, medication, pregnancy status or injuries before each appointment.

​

Providing complete and accurate information enables us to adapt treatment to your individual needs.

​

Where appropriate, you may be advised to seek advice from your GP, consultant, midwife or another healthcare professional before treatment proceeds.

Pregnancy and Postnatal Massage

Pregnancy and postnatal massage is available by Nikki, following specialist training with Jenny Burrell Education in 2022.

​

A thorough consultation will be carried out before treatment to ensure massage is suitable for you.

​

Treatment may be postponed, adapted or declined where contraindications are identified or where massage is not considered clinically appropriate.

Treatment consent and Professional standards

Revive Sports and Remedial Massage is committed to providing a professional, respectful and inclusive environment for every client.

​

  • Before treatment begins you will have the opportunity to discuss your goals, ask questions and raise any concerns.​

  • You are free to withdraw your consent or ask for treatment to stop at any time during your appointment.​

  • Appropriate draping will always be used to protect your privacy and dignity.​

  • Abusive, aggressive, threatening or sexually inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. If such behaviour occurs, treatment will end immediately and future appointments may be declined.​

  • We also reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is considered unsafe, clinically inappropriate or not in the best interests of either the client or therapist.

Treatment Outcomes

Although massage therapy can assist with recovery, mobility, pain management and wellbeing, individual responses to treatment vary.

​

No guarantee can be given regarding specific outcomes or the number of treatments required.

​

Recommendations are based on your assessment, clinical findings and professional judgement.

Aftercare

Following your appointment you may receive advice to support your recovery, including guidance on stretching, exercise, hydration, posture or activity modification.​

 

Following this advice may improve the effectiveness of your treatment but remains your choice.

Age Policy

Revive Sports and Remedial Massage provides treatments to clients aged 18 years and over.

​

Appointments are not available for anyone under the age of 18.

Liability

Revive Sports and Remedial Massage is committed to providing every treatment with reasonable care, skill and professionalism.

​

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about their health, medical history, medication and any changes to their condition before each appointment. Failure to provide this information may affect the suitability or safety of treatment.

​

Revive Sports and Remedial Massage cannot accept responsibility for any loss, injury or adverse outcome arising from:

  • incomplete, inaccurate or withheld medical information;

  • failure to follow recommended aftercare advice;

  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control; or

  • treatment being undertaken after the associated risks have been explained and accepted by the client.

 

Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending appointments. Revive Sports and Remedial Massage cannot accept liability for loss of, or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence.

​

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

I use ClinicSense to securely manage appointments and client records, and Square to process online payments.

​

Changes to these Terms

We may occasionally update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in legislation, professional guidance or the way our business operates.
